"Forever" because after your pair is worn out, you can send them back to Everlane and the shoe will be down-cycled into equestrian flooring and mats. To further counteract their footprint, Everlane partnered with NativeEnergy to support projects that actively reduce the impact of greenhouse gases. More can be seen here.
Design was meant to be simple and bare-bones. The upper was paired down to a 2 piece construction to visually simplify the style and take it away from looking like a traditional plimsoll. Laces are a little narrower to make them feel a bit more elevated and textures on the midsole were kept to a minimum to maintain a modern feel.
